Inmate 49

Well. We found Inmate 49 today. He has been missing for thirty-two days. We heard rumors. Nothing extremely bad. We were thankful for that. His history, you know, is somewhat chaotic. He also had the June 1987 issue of TIME magazine next to him. It was open to an article on genetics. Disturbing notes had been written in the margins. They were in Inmate 49's handwriting. The final note at the end of the article said, "All true. They do not know. They soon will. 2008." That is quite troubling. You see, Inmate 49 was a scientist before his incarceration. His area of expertise was the human genome. What was he doing for that time? After we got him back to the Asylum we conducted a thorough examination of him. We discovered faint traces of human dna in his clothes that were not his. He wouldn't answer any of our questions. And we didn't try any extreme measures of interrogation on him. We knew it would be a wasted effort. After all, we're not crazy people here at the Asylum. We don't take much pleasure in the pain of others. Discomfort? Now, there's a different situation. We'll just have to keep a better eye on this one. Dr. Tarr thinks we should remove the rest of his spleen. That is looking like an excellent option. We'll give it a little more time before we break out the tools. Heh heh. Just kidding. We would never hurt Inmate 49. After all, we're not crazy around here, right?
So. I think we're back on track with feedin' THE FEED. We've got a new episode ready to launch tomorrow night. We're also working on a new EL REPTILICO'S SONG PICK OF THE WEAK. It's gonna make you chuckle. El Reptilico can fill you in when you watch the clip.
We also have a few more audio files of Poe poems just about ready to add to Eddie's Place. We have a few other surprises coming up in Eddie's Place. Like a writing contest. And here's the catch. The winners will actually receive cash and merchandise as prizes. Keep tuned here or THE S'NEWSLETTER for further details.
Time to head out. I want to watch the movie that's gonna start tomorrow night: LEGACY OF BLOOD. And it also premieres our short film IN SEARCH OF THE REFFITT SWAMP MONSTER. Oh yes, our little trek to Uncle Ray's last summer. You know you can't miss that!
